VMware-player-3.1.4-385536.exe Fehler bei Installation
Hallo Leute,
habe ein Problem bei der VMware-player-3.1.4-385536 Installation unter Win7 64bit.
Es kommt immer folgende Fehlermeldung:
Error 1402. Could not open key: UNKNOWN\Components\DA42BC89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8\97B0E634BFC2F5E439081EC7B1520D5C. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
Wenn ich nun in der Registry den KEy suche bzw. dort dann die Rechte vergebe und neu starte kommt der Fehler trotzdem.
Danach kommt dann noch ein Fehler bezügl. MSI Installer. Den habe ich nun auch einmal neu registriert aber ohne Erfolg.
Hat noch einer eine Idee?

War mal eine Vorversion installiert? Wenn ja - ich hab mir daran mal eine halbe Stunde die Zähne ausgebissen und dann zum Image gegriffen. Die Altinstallation hatte alles vermurkst.

nein eine Vorversion wurde nicht installiert. Habe auch die Registry zur Sicherheit mal durchsucht.

Gut. Schon die Meldung gegoogelt?
Ja habe ich aber folgende Sachen die Beschrieben wurden haben nicht geklappt:
- anderen Ordner auswählen
- als Administrator ausführen
- registry durchsucht und Rechte vergeben
Ohne Erfolg.

Sorry, keine Ahnung.
Danke. Aber ich glaube ich haben mit einem Windows InstallerFehler zu tun, da auch andere Installationen abbrechen.
